Sling Blade was filmed in my hometown, so I’ve always been a Billy Bob fan. That was my high school stadium in the scene where Karl and Frank played football with the kids. My class was one of the last to play there. Ironically, we were called the Panthers, just like in Friday Night Lights. Sorta makes a full circle.
