Driving Around Dearborn, Michigan - Home of Ford - October 2020

Our next part of the journey on our trip to Michigan was to drive around Dearborn, Michigan in the United States. We drove through a few neighborhoods as well as passing by various Ford buildings. This was the former home of my wife when she worked for Ford Motor Company. So it brought back some good memories for her. This was during the time of Covid-19 and the weekend, hence it was quite quiet around Dearborn.

During our drive we passed some these noteworthy places:
- Greenfield Village
- Henry Ford Museum
- Ford Product Development Center
- Ford Research and Development
- Ford Event and Conference Center
- Ford Proving Grounds
- Detroit Lions Headquarters and Training Facility
- The Dearborn Inn
- Ford Experimental Vehicles Building
- Ford Driving Dynamics Laboratory
- Downtown Dearborn
- Some residential Neighborhoods

Well, it does look like they did some sidewalk work downtown with landscaping and guard rail with Michigan Av. so close. At least pedestrians feel safer now.

It's too bad downtown Dearborn never developed properly with Michigan Avenue right in the center. Not exactly very walkable. But nice neighborhoods and parks.

Great looking city with a lot including NYT's "the best museum in the country" Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Clean safe. Also has second most people on the terror watch list after NYC.
