Hopefully the Chicago DA will keep the offender off the streets. As impressive as it is that the community came together to get this man in custody so quickly as they did, it'll mean nothing if this Joyner walks after only a few years in prison or let off early after such sociopathic behavior. Kudos to Chicago's Chinatown community. I'm there every week and the crime rate keeps rising but it's nice to see the community gather together to fight back. Crazy how that one guy completely dismissed the question if it was a hate crime...

Not all hate crimes involve someone spewing out their racist ideology prior to the attack. Sometimes it's as simple as a deep-seated resentment towards the other for seemingly having peace in their lives, in contrast to the discord in one's own. This is why all the horrifically violent crime in Chicago's Chinatown is inflicted by outsiders. Remember, not all poor people and cultures are violent, valueless, and enable this type of sociopathic behavior. The foundation of Asian culture has been family and community, which is why they've prospered within the US. Stay strong Chinatown.

Oh that's OK. Depending on the race of the suspects and the race of the victim, the Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx will drop all charges against the murderers and release them from custody.
