Ήταν στις έξι η ώρα, σήμερα τα ξημερώματα, όταν ο ήχος από τις μηχανές των Ισραηλινών μαχητικών αεροσκαφών, ξύπνησε τους κατοίκους της Συριακής ακτογραμμής, καθώς αυτά πλησίαζαν από την πλευρά της Μεσογείου, για να πλήξουν στόχους, σε διάφορες περιοχές της Συρίας.
Έτσι, όπως μετέδωσε το Συριακό κρατικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων SANA και αναμετέδωσαν το Reuters, το AP, και ειδησεογραφικές ιστοσελίδες, τα Ισραηλινά μαχητικά χτύπησαν φυλάκια που βρισκόντουσαν στην ακτογραμμή της Συρίας, όπως επίσης και στην κεντρική, προκαλώντας τον θάνατο τεσσάρων στρατιωτών, τον τραυματισμό άλλου ένα, και πολλές υλικές ζημιές.
Το Συριακό Παρατηρητήριο Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων μάλιστα, προχώρησε ένα βήμα παραπάνω, αναφέροντας και τοποθεσίες, όπως η Λατάκια, η Χάμα και Χομς, χωρίς όμως να δώσει περισσότερες πληροφορίες, για το ποιοί ήταν τελικά οι στόχοι.
Όπως φαίνεται πάντως, οι Ισραηλινές Ένοπλες δυνάμεις, έχουν θέσει ως στόχο τους, να μην επιτρέψουν στο Ιράν, να μεταφέρει οπλισμό προς τον Λίβανο ή να διατηρεί εργαστήρια κατασκευής οπλικών συστημάτων στη Συρία και θα συνεχίσουν να πραγματοποιούν τέτοιου είδους επιθέσεις, ώστε να διασφαλίσουν όσο μπορούν, ότι οι φιλοιρανικές δυνάμεις που βρίσκονται στη Συρία, δεν θα αποτελούν κίνδυνο για την χώρα τους.

It was at six o'clock this morning, when the sound of the engines of the Israeli warplanes woke up the residents of the Syrian coastline, as they were approaching from the Mediterranean side, to hit targets in different areas of Syria.

However, it seems that the Israeli Defense Forces have set their goal not to allow Iran to transfer weapons to Lebanon and to maintain weapons systems manufacturing workshops in Syria and will continue to carry out such attacks in order to ensure as much as they can, that the pro-Iranian forces in Syria will not pose a danger to their country.
