It's 2015, and you know what that means: SOMETHING from Back to the Future Part 2 has to come true. While I'm still waiting for the hover conversion on my DeLorean, it seems that we'll soon have the correct shoes for zipping around on our real-life hoverboards.

Finally...  It's about 25 years I'm waiting for this....

Someone should create an auto-lacing device with little grips (so that it would be usable with every shoe) then we could all be able to have a little piece of BTTF on ourselves without spending too much on a pair of shoes.

Hopefully they don't auction these ones off and actually put a fixed price on them so all people can have a chance to own them.

Also hope they do it right so the power laces are good enough that they can be an actual alternative to regular laces and not just a novelty item and good enough so that they can eventually be built into many different shoes.

As a big fan of the trilogy, I'd love to have a pair of these, but they would have to function just as they did in the movie, and I *highly* doubt that will ever become reality.

I'm usually not that much into shoes, but as a massive fan of Back to the Future, provided that these aren't too ridiculously priced, (which they probably will be) i would highly consider buying them.
