BREAKING: I'm Under Attack By the Nazi Alt-Right

In this Majority Report clip, Sam Seder addresses an organized effort by alt-right figures to distort an 8-year-old satirical tweet that Sam sent out. The smear campaign was started by Mike Cernovich, a right-wing conspracy theorist who is best known for promulgating the "Pizzagate" conspiracy theory—a completely unsubstantiated set of claims. Sam Seder and the Majority Report stand to lose advertisers if the social media efforts of these people are successful, and he asks his audience to look at what was actually said in his initial tweet in order to make their own assessment of the situation and offer their support to Sam and the show.

My god this is disgusting. The particularly chilling aspect to this I feel is the sort of doublethink and projection involved. The modern right wing movements sweeping parts of the EU and NA thrive on that insanity. Where they simultaneously wish to claim that their opposition uses words so much that they become meaningless. It's hard to not find a comment section, social media post, etc that does not have a horde of people saying some variation on how, "SJW's call everyone they dislike a Nazi!" or make similarly mocking comments on discussions of racial privilege, etc. We see it in the overwhelming number of bald face lies repeatedly spewed from the mouth of the American president and those around him. And now we apparently see it directed at Mr. Seder.
