How did you manage to remove the tail light assembly? I've managed to remove the 5 nuts, but it still doesn't come out. There seems to be somekind of butyl sealant also, do I need to apply heat and try to pull it out or is it fastened somewhere else too?

Have you managed to remove and to put back the big plastic cover? The one that seems broken in your "before" picture.
