There is no way to know just by looking at that candle. Watching the tape would have been the only way to know. Also you said It came into a supply zone indicating there is a large order on the level two at that price level. Second if the candle hasn’t closed you can’t base a thesis off it. The only way you could have predicted that is by watching book map and time and sales. If you got confirmation of an aggressive buyer filling all the passive sellers and price failed to go higher indicated by a large top side wick on the candle close then you could go short. Great analysis pointing that out and making others aware of order flow 👍
