So there's this 200 foot giant decaying rabbit on top of a mountain, and it's been there for almost 20 years! What's up with that!? There's also a creepy poem that goes with it too...

This is the first I'm hearing about this and I'm fascinated. I do hope that they didn't just leave all of that stuffing and rotted fabric to infect the surrounding areas by way of the wind, though. Art is important but so is our environment.

I did not know about the giant bunny and it's giant gaping maw. That mouth opened in a horrified scream is probably the creepiest thing about it.

I honestly never saw Hase as creepy. The entire story behind him is cool. Of course I’m sad I never got to see this art piece in person, but I’m glad that after all of those years, Hase gets the attention he deserves

You know they couldn've made this a really cute looking bunny but instead they were like nah lets make it the most unsettling bunny we can with a giant hole for the mouth 😆

I’ve seen pictures of it all over the place but somehow never thought to look for context. Thanks for the insight!

Never once did I think I'd hear Big Chungus's holy name invoked by the illustrious Abitfrank, but I am so very glad that I did. In all seriousness, your videos are always thought-provoking and full of charm, and I am so grateful for all that you do. Keep up the wonderful work!

Love this! I use this art piece in the environment art chapter of the art appreciation course I teach. I will certainly link this video to this portion. Too good!

This is one of those things I learned about, and I forget about it but then every once in awhile I'll hear about it again and be like, "Oh yeah! That thing!" lol.

This was by far the deepest dive I've heard on it, at any rate. I _think_ I recall learning about it being an art installation, but I never knew the name of the artists. I also didn't know it looked all... gross these days, lol. This was definitely a cool, creepy thing to (re) learn about - always enjoy these vids!

ooo it gives me the same kind of spooky forgotten toy vibes as the petrified bears at Mother Shipton's cave but without the creepy backstory that has origins in reality another spooky place i would like to visit someday

I remember seeing the bunny via a photo in a National Geographic magazine that I often got every month or so. I've known about it for a while by now and was wondering if it still rested on that mountain. So this video has been a bit of an update for me on the pink fellow and I'm a bit sad that I'll won't be able to see it in person because it's basically gone, but it's nice to know it's only going away because of time and not a clean up crew, for now at least.

I know this bunny! I've seen photos of it from time to time but I haven't checked in on it for a looong time
I'm sad to see it near its end but it was such a journey seeing its progression! I wish I couldve met it 😔

People who like macro theme art can be pretty dedicated.
I'm grinning at the fact somebody pulled off a plushie of this scale.

This has the feels of a potential Nickelodeon show.

I actually did know about the giant bunny years ago. High school assignment where we all had to make a power point with 15 places we wanted to see before we died. Classmate had the bunny on her list and also lamented about how time sensitive it was since the rabbit was going to rot eventually. She said that she really wanted to sit in it's mouth and eat pizza.

I'm surprise Energizer never made a commercial around that big rabbit cause you know... it's a big pink rabbit like their mascot.

I knew about this bunny since 2016 because I was going a faze where I enjoyed listening to creepy stuff on the internet and to this day still in the faze.

I just want to say I'm glad to see you uploading on this channel again. I don't know if it was a sudden burst of inspiration, or simply a desire to revitalize and grow this endeavor, but I'm quite pleased and enjoy the new content just as much as the earlier ones.

If we get a pokemon region based on Italy, they should have something similar but with either Pikachu or one of the main Bunny Pokemon lines, Scorbunny, Bunnelby or Bunneary, or worse, have it not be a sculpture
