As an Afghan, I loved seeing your vlogs from around the world, but when you went to Afghanistan - it made a big difference. Given the turbulent past few decades, it was great seeing something not focused on the pain brought to the country from abroad.

Sure the Venezuelan beaches are beautiful but the most remarkable thing about Venezuela are the mysterious tepui flat top mountainous regions, Angel Falls, UNESCO heritage designated Canaima National Park and the all the magnificent flora & fauna living in the area. The area has every possible environment to explore; from hiking Savanah grasslands, lush tropical rainforests, phenomenal misty waterfalls as well as many amazing caves for exploring. The people are incredibly kind, helpful & enjoy teaching outsiders about their lands & cultures. And, who doesn't love arapas?

It’s nice that you can visit some of these countries as a solo male traveler and have a positive experience. As a solo female traveler, I had several problems in Afghanistan and won’t go back. In Venezuela I was constantly hit on to a degree that it made me feel unsafe. In Turkey the men at the bazaar would follow me around and call me Shakira, shouting at me to go have tea with them and the hotel staff would hit on me every night. I wish I could have had your experiences.

I was in France for a few months and the people who were the kindest to me as an immigrant were Afghans. Will never forget their hospitality, love from India 🇮🇳
