I was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson's Disease in 2012, at 32 years old. Medical advances like this are why I'm so optimistic about my condition. If it had been ten years earlier, it would have been harder to deal with, I think. But so far, my tremor is manageable workout medication. It's progressing slowly, and, currently localised to just my left arm and leg mostly. By the time it gets worse, treatment like this and others might be the norm! I'm curious if the ultrasound treatment also works against some of other effects of long term Parkinson's, most notably Alzheimer's.

That's actually in the United States? That is awesome. We do rock the world with technology - but then we apply the profit motive and ruin it.

Mad World - Gary Jules, nice choice. Very nice. This is great, amazing news! I hope this treatment spreads like wildfire and a cure for the disease comes soon.

This sounded really good and positive, until they said it was still in clinical trials.
That means it won't be open to the public for years... Go Dammit!!

Well, once it is out in the public, this will go miles into helping those with more violet tremors recuperate... and hopefully it is on the NHS, because this treatment will be hyper expensive to the average patient otherwise.
