What is Multiple Sclerosis ❓
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves. Signs and symptoms of MS vary widely and depend on the amount of nerve damage and which nerves are affected. Some people with severe MS may lose the ability to walk independently or at all, while others may experience long periods of remission without any new symptoms. There's no cure for multiple sclerosis. However, treatments can help speed recovery from attacks, modify the course of the disease, and manage symptoms.

I hope your holidays were happy. I'm glad you're feeling optimistic.
2023 was not a year for which I feel grateful.
I went from almost normal functioning to major balance issues, walking difficulties, and needing a cane. I have pains in different parts of my body almost all the time, sometimes quite severe. I can no longer do many of the things I used to do.
My best friend moved out of state.
My other good friend died.
I was hospitalized twice, for a few days each time. The second time, I came close to dying. There are a lot of times now when I wish that had happened because my life has deteriorated so much due to pain and disability.

Hi Seb New research is looking into the area of viruses resulting in conditions like MS. Not just MS but other auto immune diseases that plague so many peoples lives today. We need to remain hopeful for one breakthrough can lead to another which often happens in research. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Yes, be hopeful! My neurologist just covered this on his live stream. There is lots of testing with stem cell research to heal lesions. In the meantime, eat well, sleep well, take your meds, exercise, and most of all, try to be happy and spend life with those you love.

In the first second of the first minute of this 2024 that is about to arrive, our joys and sorrows will be the same but we will see them with new eyes and we will face them with renewed hopes. And that is the wonder of this transition.
Seb, lovely human being, your optimism and your dreams are ours too.
I have no doubt that your bravery honesty and sweetness have already touched many lives, positively, not only those affected by MS, but also by other medical conditions. And that is your trademark that makes you being YOU.
Keep on going dear virtual friend.

Sadly it will never happen because pharmaceutical companies will always want people to be on life long medications, are not interested in finding cures (haven't actually found a cure) for any chronic conditions,

it all started with me back in 2021, something strange andweird, 3y later it is pain and ?.. why this happend, it is good to see things like this, my body is weak, muscle are weak, tired, burning feeling, numbness, they want to give me morphine but it is too adictive and age 26, i hope more about a cure or the cause from ms will cleared out, still don’t know how it gained this much… but i do know like most, it is exhausting, i did ice hockey, powertraining, motorcycle now all these things nope, running the same nope, when i sleep i dream vivid about skating, motorcycle, fitness and good vacations across EU and mallorca, swimming sea, Egypt turkye and Tunis etc, now i have to accept life is different, well my relationship is also .. i still have a good friend who loves me how i am and accept how i am as now, we played also sports together and met in 2018 skating rink, you have also motivational story! 🙏❤️

Seb, are you okay? We haven't seen any posts for a year? Have you just got fed up doing these posts or are you really ill? People do care and are concerned about you. With much kindness.

Great video as always!
And regarding the Epstein Barr virus, I’m not sure. 90% of the general population has been infected with EBV, but only less than 0.3% have MS. Let’s see.
The remylination sounds interesting. A physician friend of mine mentioned he found stem cell therapy for MS very promising. Let’s hope for the best.
Happy Holidays everyone!
