Ho, ho, ho and a very merry Christmas. The Sorted gang are in the festive spirit as they try not to ruin Christmas by concocting a shambles of a dish from your typical leftovers from the holiday period. 10 minutes each in the kitchen having NO IDEA what the person before left. Start the clock, there’s a dish needing to be made….

Barry: "Oh, stuff it! Just do what I know!"

Shit. Barry's making cloud eggs again

This episode was literally "Can a chef save Christmas diner in 10 minutes" lmao

Got to love the fact that Ben finds sprouts in the the fridge, starts to prepare it, and only then question why there were sprouts in the fridge.

Ben is so impressive. He deciphers what people have done, comes up with a plan to rescue it, all the while talking to the camera and explaining what his thought process is. Amazing!

James: sets ambitious plan that will never survive till Ben's turn
Jamie: removes one bit of greenery that might still contain a vitamin
Barry: can't understand the plan, decides he doesn't care
Mike: can't understand the plan, berates himself for it for ten minutes
Ben: miraculously understands what James was trying to do and pulls it out the fire
Pass-it-on: completely normal :D

Favorite parts: the fact that Jamie hid the sprouts and Ben found them at the end, Baz cutting off his bell, James at the beginning giggling at being told we voted him "most festive". Ben deserved a friggin 10 out of 10 for his save at the end, you did much more than just "put stuff on a plate" you made an entire new side, saved other sides, made sure everything that someone contributed was on there, made a gravy out of nowhere. Also, Mike, simply because I didn't mention you yet, you were cool too. :) Happy Christmas.

That performance is precisely why I love Ben. Does about 10 things at once with great skill and precision, in such a calm yet energetic way AND commentates in a clear and concise way on top of that. What a top lad!

Ben should have given himself 15. He literally saved the normals’ mistake

Ben was totally the MVE “most valuable elf” in this situation 👏🏻

Yeah James, Jamie is definitely going to think "fondant celeriac"

Ben deserves a much higher score. He made one of the sides on his own, saved the cabbage Jaime started, and saved the gravy James started that everyone else seemed to ignore. Well done Ben.

Barry Taylor - “do what I know!”
Everyone - “please don’t make a cloud egg!”

Barry: “I have never flapped more.”

Seems he’s forgotten about the cloud eggs.

My son when Ben was coming:
"Daddy.... He's faster than the others isn't he?"

"Do what I know" I really expected Baz to start making a cloud egg...

I love how Ben just rushed in and literally saved the garbage bin fire that was the "dish" till then 😂😂😂

Ben always seems to do 10x what everyone else is able to do in the same amount of time

I love the way that the first thing Ben always does is automatically tidy things away without realising he's getting rid of clues left for him. There was a stock cube on that plate, Ben! You could've seen that instead of standing around later saying "They haven't got any stock out." 🤣 (PS, 'Talk turkey to me' is clearly the winner of the jumpers, at least)

A chef at the end really does miracles, especially if Ben is the one. He deserves a solid 10/10 for this one.
