Bonelab Teaser Trailer Song Lyrics (Teased Lore)

The Bonelabs teaser trailer came out on April 20th on Meta's gaming showcase and everybody is super excited for Bonelab to come out. But if you listen carefully of the lyrics it sounds similar to the plot of Boneworks but different. These lyrics tell a story about Arthur Ford or they are possibly from him and he is trying to escape the void. Check pinned comment

Stress Level Zero made it clear that we do not play as Ford in this new game, but they did tease that he is going to be in it. The Lyrics explain Ford in the void or maybe even trying to escape the void and in this game and we may have to help save him since there is the Boneworks box secured in the thumbnail and Brandon said "You're not wrong" to this theory. But also since Ford is somewhat the bad guy in Bonework's plot there is a possibility this game's final boss will be Ford and it was a mistake releasing him like said in Game Theory's video.

Others disagree that Ford is trying to escape the void, he spent the entirety of Boneworks to get IN, however if this truly is Ford speaking in these lyrics you notice how nothing positive is said about the void, such as "I'm alive at what cost" and "This isn't my home". Especially on Bonelab's steam page, the story description ends with "A road to the truth calls from the void."

I don't think it's Arthur Ford, it's us. Alex said "you play as your consciousness". It's a song about us ending up in the simulation. Even the game's description says "Escape *YOUR* reality, or wreak havoc. No wrong answers. Sentenced to death, *you* embody an outcast escaping fate." And he backed it up with "like you are you, in the game, canonically"

Maybe when we play we will hear a disembodied whisper speaking to us when we escape the execution which would be ford trying to get us to get him out of the void. Kinda like how in subnautica the sea emperor would beckon us to come down with one liners like "what are you?"

BTW in case anyone is wondering yes ford will be in the game just not in the campaign (as far as I know) just in the sandbox so basically they just ported the Ford npc from boneworks into bonlab

At first i was thinking the lyrics could possibly be a narrative of the protagonist in bonelab in a similar position as ford (dead irl, alive in mythos), possibly trying to get to somewhere (hence the line: we're not even home yet), but then the "ford theory" is way more realistic with less plot holes and is sorta mysterious, the lyrics feel like its a note or message from ford, and hearing about him again this way is frickin eerie, with the lines "would you even know?" he sounds like a a villain beginning his reign of revenge xD Very good theory tho, got me thinkin

Just from watching this teaser trailer and listening to this song nonstop for the past 12 hours, makes me want this game so bad. When i get it, I'm going to listen to this song looped while playing, this is amazing. Thank you so much for this video!
