This actually makes sense though, Bryan was recruited to bring back kidnapped victims, that's why he was so good at recovering his daughter in the movie(s).

Most big screen to small screen adaptations are shit just like movie renditions of popular video games (see: Dragon Ball the movie) BUT THIS. This has been an edge of your seat thriller since I started watching. Bravo NBC you hit it out the park with this one. Minimal drama, believable action and I'm only on ep. 2!
