I’m actually happy I found this. My daughter had a seizure last week and my wife was scared to death.

I’m so glad I found this video today! My 4 year was just diagnosed yesterday with epilepsy! And when he had his seizure I didn’t have any idea what to do! And it was so bad because it lasted over 45 minutes! Then they sent to different test and EEG and then they diagnosed him! But they said since his lasted longer then 45 minutes it was very dangerous because they called it a STATUS EPILEPTICUS! So now I will need to learn more on these things and make my son as comfortable as possible in the further

My daughter was diagnosed with autism and she is nonverbal. She had her first seizure last year July 2022 😢 at 5 years old. It takes a lot for me to cry, at the ER I cried so much. (not in front of the doctors) 💔 your whole world changes. My daughter had another seizure 3 nights ago at 4 am 😢💔 thank God I was sleep on her bed with her. I’m so happy I came across your page I’ve learned so much in seven minutes 🙏🏼 Thank you so much

Your channel is awesome. I work in armed security for the government and had to deal with a runaway vehicle that was a driver in a seizure when she crashed and then the car caught fire but then once I got to the vehicle I broke in and pulled the driver out and turned the car off but let me tell you it is scary and seconds feel like hours when this happens because they are so dangerous if the person is driving. Glad I was able to save the guy and this channel is doing God's work.

This is such a great, helpful video! I just had a student had a febrile seizure and it was the scariest thing I have ever seen. It was my first time seeing anyone having a seizure. Thank you for explaining so well 😊

My 2 year old had his first febrile seizure yesterday and while i did get scared as heck i stayed mostly very calm. Put him into recovery position cooled him down with some water on his head/forehead and called 911, temp was 102 on paramedics arrival, i did try to hold his tonge out which almost costed me my index finger. Glad i know now. Thank you for educating parents.

I have seen some of your videos before that my friend suggested because I am always interested in the medical sphere, especially in first aid. Watching first aid "out of curiosity" and "just good knowledge to have" changed drastically yesterday.
Yesterday I witnessed my baby sister suffer a febrile seizure for the first time. I've never seen anyone have a seizure before. It was terribly frightening! I was searching the internet all day today for more information on febrile seizures and what to do with them. Wish I'd seen this video before it happened. I'm definitely subscribing now!

thank you so much, this means i have been doing things wrongly, my brother had seizure about 3 episodes and what i did was to try to sit him up by supporting his back with my knee and holding his chip up for smooth breathing. so i should just let him lie on his side and leave him until he gains his consciousness back...oh yeah and put a pillow. Thanks a lot.

Dealt with seizures in both people and animals. My daughter had seizures when she was an infant. And I helped a neighbor several times as she seized. Great information here. I would add just a couple of things....keep watching videos and have a plan to help someone. I had people tell me I looked like an attending physician when bystanders watched me do it a couple of times in public. Helped a young lady at the state fair in NC about 5 years ago. She was eventually diagnoses with epilepsy....the flashing lights induced the seizure. Be calm and be confident is what you are doing. Next, when the person regains consciousness....talk to them in a quiet tone. They are usually confused and scared. Let them know they are OK, where they are and what happened to them.

Yeah I have suffered from epilepsy since I was 13 years old and know being 63 it's been a long and buming road for my self i spend time on a application and this person said they must have been blessed by God
I bet when they have such with it for quite a long time they might think differently about what they have said

Thanks for your great video, I live in a shelter and one of our residents has been having seizures, I believe everyone should learn CPR and first aide to learn what to do!

Was in the hospital today with seizures; wish my mom would have seen this video. I was diagnosed with PNES but it happened at school and the nurses and paramedics decided I should go to the hospital. My mom ended up ignoring my seizure that I had at the hospital and it wasn't until the nurse came in for rounds that somebody did something. Thanks for this video, appreciate it a lot.
