Hard to feel bad over a person that lied about WMD's and whose actions caused the death's of many

This man should not be honored after he straight up lied to get us into Iraq.

Good thing he was fully vaccinated. It could have been much worse.

The cognitive dissonance required to honor Powell matches the reverence given Reagan.

Took him from a young man in the South Bronx and made him into a war criminal

Powell was a sheltered hallway general that rarely left the Pentagon his whole career.

Thanks to his brave patriotic efforts, America lost out on $7 trillion that, you know, could have been spent on universal healthcare instead of turning millionaire defense contractors into billionaires.

One big middle finger to him for every innocent person killed at his hands

So he wasn’t a good solider nor was he smart. Makes you wonder why he really got to where he was.

I understand that he passed away but I think that this is a distraction there were too many things terrible happening within this administration that need to be focused upon as opposed to this.

I DO NOT FEEL ANY WAY FOR THIS LIAR. HE SHOULD BE JUDGED FINALLY BY GOD HIMSELF FOR TAKING THE STANCE HE DID. He left a trail of pain and tears,
Lies and deception. This man is dead and gone, just like MILLIONS OF CASUALTIES OF A WAR THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11 or WMDs

Soooo many vaccinated realizing they've made a HUGE mistake 😳

I particularly liked his United Nations presentation on Iraqi weapons of mass destruction… which led to an enormous number of lives being lost - and seemingly endless Middle Eastern turmoil. He’s the best!

It is interesting to see how history is viewing the 2000s now. At the time, the entire Bush administration was seen with pure vitriol and now we understand the legacy is much more complicated for the likes of Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rice, etc…

You rarely see a positive comment about anyone in government.
