@TheChazza1121 The title "Catfish" refers to the practice of putting a few catfish in shipping containers with live cod.

The catfish nip at the cod, keeping them moving, and preserving the quality of their meat.

Otherwise, their meat becomes mush from lack of activity. With the movie, it is used as a metaphor for people keeping you on your toes in life.

*SPOILER* I'll throw some stuff about this movie out there, to clear things up. the mother Angela poses as everyone in the family but abby DOES exist, but she doesnt paint, Angela paints the things sent to Nev, the sister megan doesnt exist, and the pics angela keeps sending Nev are of a model. Angela does have two disabled sons. and the reason the movie is called Catfish is because Angela's husband is speaking in one scene about people and referring to a certain type of person as a "Catfish".

now a days thrillers are mostly gore. this is scary, because this shit really happens. there is more views on "the human centipede" than this trailer. now, that is just messed up, because people would rather watch that than what happens in the real world.

Think about this...what the hell kind of documentary would they have had if it had not taken a twist? Would you have watched that? It is incredibly fake.

@yeenyeen07 The first half of the trailer is really accurate. It's about a guy who meets a girl on Facebook who turns out to be not quite who she says she is. On the surface, that's pretty much all there is to it. Essentially, it's about online relationships and the problems they come with. It's not a thriller, there's one or two suspenseful scenes but the payoff is not scary, but rather very emotional and somewhat disturbing. Your best bet is just see it without expectations or preconceptions.
