So back in the day Paypal seemed like a peer to peer trust platform. Not sure if it still is as i havent used it peer to peer lately. interesting, in the example of the 6 doors, since both parties don't have same amount of bitcoin, I guess if this was a make or brake condition, then "no deal" was the result. Maybe the example would have been clearer if both parties had different items. Say one is selling priceless art, but want's to know you have at least 1 bitcoin to be able to bid, before divulging what exactly the art piece is.
I find the concept hard to understand, but so was blockchain at first.
