The Q4 results declared by HDFC Bank is definitely a disappointing quarter, if HDFC Bank had paid 25-27% tax which they had generally paid before few quarters back, then the Net Profit of HDFC Bank would have just been just 13, 380 crores (assuming 25% tax rate) & just 13, 100 crores (assuming 27% tax rate). If that had happened & declared has Q42024 results I'm pretty sure HDFC Bank shares would have definitely nosedived 10% minimum the day the market opens on 22nd April, 2024 & a further fall of atleast 7% in upcoming days would have been seen in it's shares, just because of that tax rate, HDFC Bank's Net Profit had been fabricated well than what it has actually performed.

I'm an existing investor in HDFC Bank shares with sizeable holdings in it & I'll definitely not be buying HDFC Bank shares for now, will be waiting atleast for 10-14 trading days for the stock to fall further.

I'm going to sell 25% of my holdings by today or tomorrow (in little profit), further selling of 5% of my holdings in HDFC Bank for every 3% rise in the stock price untill i trim my HDFC Bank holding by 40%
