What if Minecraft Got Some New Colors (and flowers too)? | Minecraft Suggestions Episode 3

Colors are pretty cool. Colours are slightly less cool. Either way, these new colors are the best colours of all. I wanna dye!

Why not lavander as plant? It would give lavender dye. Also minecraft needs a mediterranean biome. Also an idea: cattail as flower for brown dye. I don't understand how they didn't add it for swamp update.

Scarlet
Gold
Light Brown
Coral
Navy
and Olive

i would add the ACTUAL shade of cyan, rename the old cyan to teal, add olive, add navy, add tan, add periwinkle, add lavender, add cobalt, and finally add gold

DEFINITELY! We need A LOT MORE COLORS! They left out the tertiary+ colors like red-violet, teal, turquoise, electric-blue, blue-green, peach, red-orange, yellow-green, chartreuse, mahogany, crimson, gunmetal, yellow-orange timberwolf, indigo, blue-violet, periwinkle, gold, Auburn, crimson dark colors, blush red, light colors (the only light colors they have are light gray and light blue), neon colors, pastel colors, salmon, marmalade, scarlet, ash, etc, etc.)

You can actually get different shades of the main 16 colors of vanilla Minecraft on leather armor by mixing different dye in a cauldron and dipping the armor in the cauldron. But, for certain combinations it won't work. The colors just end up conflicting with each other.

I would love new colours though I can understand a bit why Mojang would not add more, while you used Concrete as the examples here, they would have to also add Wool, Carpets, Concrete Powder, Terracotta, Glazed Terracotta, Banners, Beds, Sheep, Glass and the Panes, Flowers (or something new to get the dye from), and the dyes themselves which if going with the 8 you've limited it would make 96 new blocks alone, 8 Additional Sheep, and 8 Items being the Dyes.

If anything Mojang did have different wool colours way back in Indev There was Red, Orange, Bright Yellow, Chartreuse, Green (Not the dark Green), Spring Green, Cyan (not actually cyan), Capri, Ultramarine, Violet, Purple, Magenta, Rose, Light Grey, Dark Grey, White.

As for the reason the White Tulip gives light grey they said that because white dye was originally bonemeal it felt strange for a flower to give bonemeal, white dye kinda was made after the flower was added, as for the reason for the Green Dye not being craftable is kinda the same reason green was originally called Cactus Green and it came from smelting Cactus so it did not make sense for two dyes to give you cactus.
