A couple months back I had a schecter damien platinum fr s, it was gorgeous in every way. The only deal breaker was fr special. One time I broke the high e string, the whole guitar gone completely outta tune and I took it to a luthier to set it up properly cuz my stupid ass managed to restring the guitar only to break the g string later. Funny thing is that on seeing the fr special, the guy sarcastically said that I should just throw the guitar away and that fr special is a royal pain in the ass. He went back and grabbed a box and showed it to me, inside the box there were plenty of specials some of their saddles have been stripped, some of their knife edges got dull and rusty and stuff like that.

So yeah, the moral of the story is just dont buy a guitar with fr special! I honestly dont know why floyd rose still manufactures that piece of junk. Its literally alloy of plastic and zinc.
