I love Shovel Knight and I think he'd be a great character...but I'm sorry, in terms of representing Indie characters and overall relevance to Nintendo, he has absolutely nothing on Shantae. The fact that people honestly think his chances are better than hers are quite laughable.

It's nice to see King K. Rool at number one. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't object to seeing any of these characters in Smash, but K. Rool has waited his turn fair and square. It's time for him to make his triumphant return, both as a DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros. and as the main villain in future Donkey Kong Country games.  #KrocTheVote

Hell yea #IsaacForSmash  ! Just by imagining the soundtrack and maybe stage they would add with Isaac makes me jump with Hype!... But if they just added Isaac the hype would be unreal as well!.
I'm a bit sad Marshad from Rythm Heaven or any other rep from the franchise aint that popular... it would be an incredibly unique character and the franchise would get the love it deserves.

EDIT: I haven't seen people thinking we'll get 10-20 more characters lol. I've been expecting no more than 6-8 from the start (total), with about 3-5 from the ballot.
