Heres me giving an inside from my rank 116 experience of all the games i played. If u are a new player playing World war 4 / apocalypse modes in 4x you should choose what kind of troops u are going to expertise in. If u are playing navy you should expertise in it. When im playing countries like indonesia and japan or sometimes china i would basically put destroyer stacks with naval commander in the front followed by cruisers and frigate stacks. These 2 types of stacks will be my main stay in the navy. Usually a lot of players like playing subs so putting my commander and destroyers up front ensures me i dont get any surprises. then my cruisers and grigates will hit them and due to their anti air capabillities no missiles or air craft can hit my ships. End Game i wll have air craft carriers paired with ballistic submarines in the rear where im firing nukes and bullying people while my attack helis and air fighters ensure my land troops dont get any hits. This will be around day 50+ where i have a lot of resources to pull all my troops. Ground troops will basically be Infantry with combat recon vehicles or just mobile anti airs.As u will have a huge surplus of supplies u can also try multiple rocket launchers but those also need electronics.

What you said about decoy units is wrong, at least part of it. When you send a low level unit to a enemy ship as a decoy, if the enemy hits you and destroys your decoy unit, he can attack immediately to your “main” stack of ships, in other words hitting two stacks at the same time. In order for a decoy to work you need to send a good hp ship that won’t get destroyed by a single hit.

This is a general query about missile splash damage area, for example a level 4 ballistic nuke damages an area of radius 30, but the game gives no indication of how much actual area that covers. Any ideas how I can figure this out?
