Discriminant and Quadratic Inequalities

This is a two part lesson. The first part of this lesson deals with the discriminant and how it can be used to identify the number and type of solutions a quadratic function may have. The second part of the lesson demonstrates one method for solving quadratic inequalities using a number line and how to write a final answer in interval notation.
