The only problem I have with the spiral abyss is that I only have like 5 built characters (that aren't even that good)

To add a few more points:

7:14 Geo "shields" are specifically weak to **blunt** (aka. **heavy**) attacks, which do include most sources of Geo damage, but also any melee weapon plunge attack, Xilonen and Wriothesley's charged attacks, explosive Pyro character abilities, etc.

9:41 Lots of enemies can also be grouped up with smart positioning. One trick is "edge baiting" where you run to the edge of the arena and wait for opponents to meet you at a common location. Most enemies have a preferred fighting distance; they will draw closer if their target is too far away and back away if too close.

I've got two proper invested teams and now I am working on building several (low investment) supports for the theater. (I've been playing for 7 months) I can only 33 star atm but I'd rather get the additional primos from theater then getting 50 more primos for 36staring
As of my experience, since the theater has been introduced, it is actually good to spread your resources after having your 2 main invested teams
