Step by step guide to Yugioh:
Turn 1: Show your combo pieces; if opponent doesn't have enough handtraps, you win. Else, send your pieces to the GY and end turn.
Turn 2: There is no turn 2. If your combo went off, your opponent can't do anything and you'll win next turn. If your combo didn't go off, you won't have any handtraps and your opponent wins (backrows don't do shit).
Turn 3: Turn 3 only exists if neither you nor your opponent have combo pieces. From this turn on, both of you will survive off any handtraps drawn while waiting for whoever topdecks their combo first.

This reminds of a duel a played the other day where someone Effect Veiler'd me twice in the same turn. Ever since then, I read through every hand trap to make sure which ones are hard once per turns and which ones aren't.
