As a local of Manila, lived here most of my life and now lives in the US I am in awe of how you wanted to first visit one of the busiest and possibly dangerous places in Manila-Quiapo. Listen when people say to put your backpack in front. They do care! This is one of the most snatcher/pickpocket prone area. It’s no joke. But so glad you had a really great experience and Filipino hospitality is the best in the world! You make me miss and love my own country more!! Thank you for showing some of the most beautiful places in the Phils !! ❤

Though infrastructure is lagging behind and developing compared to its ASEAN peers, the natural beauty of these tropical islands and the friendliness and hospitality of its people are second to none.

Both my parents were 7 and 8 when they migrated to the US. My mom lost her ability to speak Tagalog, but she is still very much fluent in Ilocano. My dad still knows Ilocano and Tagalog. But they never bothered to teach my siblings and I, which seems to be a common “issue” for us American Filipinos. I can understand only some words in Ilocano, but I have been yearning to go to the Philippines. This has helped me so much along with all the other videos! I’ve only been to the PH twice and it was for big events. Like they made my mom queen of Urdaneta City and my cousin a princess. Not sure why. But it was purely a fund raiser thing. We have inheritance home there, so I’m thinking of visiting there then taking my husband to Palawan and Boracay! Thank you so much.

Your natural disposition to connect with the locals is simply amazing. I like your infectious energy and sincere friendliness. Brave souls you are for trying Soup no.5, but that was a fun surprise. 2Go ships are the better vessels plying the Provincial and Island Destinations in the local waters that is widely accepted by many local tourists, businessmen, working and travelling professionals. Your followers like me always appreciate your down-to-earth take of your vlogging style and content creation. Keep up the good work!

My wife and I spent seven weeks island hopping in the Philippines earlier this year. Philippinos are the best.

Shev and Dev, you are such a joy to watch. Your love of the Philippines and Filipinos is palpable. I love your interactions with local folks - so sweet and fun! My 93-year-old dad found your video and is enthralled. We’re Filipino American and he hasn’t been back since 2007. He can’t travel anymore so watching your Philippines videos are so much fun for him. I hope you keep visiting the islands! 🥥❤🥥

I love your Philippine documentary, as it provided me an incentive to visit the Philippines. Thank you for show-casing the cultural aspects, ie, kindness and friendliness of the local people, the cuisine and the sights. Phil is on my destination lists.

What is in Buko juice? Ice, turned to water, sugar, young coconut, and coconut water. The banana you bought was for cooking, that is why she said "banana Q" or BBQ banana. Roasting improves sweetness,
