Al Haawiya : a canyon in Hell so deep that only Allah knows its depth.

The word Haawiya is derived from hua which means to fall into a deep canyon.

Huwwat ummuhu : literally means ‘his mother fell off a cliff into a deep canyon’ . An Arabic idiom meaning ‘you are looking very disturbed”.

What is the sudden destructive calamity?
And what can make you know what is the sudden destructive calamity.
(A day) all mankind will be like moths, dispersed .
And the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.
So as for him whose scales is heavy (with good deeds).
He will be in a pleasant life.
And as for him whose scales are light.
His mother will be an abyss.
And what can make you know what it is?
An intensely hot, fire

رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، حَمْداً كَثِيْراً طَيِّباً مُبارَكاً فِيْهِ

Our Lord, praise is Yours, abundant, good and blessed praise.

Rabbanaa wa lakal-hamdu, hamdan katheeran tayyiban mubaarakan feeh

Recite in the morning

اللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا

O Allaah, I ask You for knowledge which is beneficial and sustenance which is good, and deeds which are acceptable.

Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka 'ilman naafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.

-Ibn As-Sunni (Hadith no. 54), Ibn Majah (Hadith no. 925).

Glory be to Allah", and I begin with praise of Him to the number of His creatures, in accordance with His good pleasure, to the weight of His throne and to the ink (extent) of His words

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ 

Subhaanallaahi wa bihamdihi: ‘Adada khalqihi wa ridhaa nafsihi, wa zinata ‘arshihi wa midaada kalimaatihi
