Hi guys and subscribers. I’d appreciate some feedback.

A general question about tyre pressures. My local trails are black. I ride a Yeti SB75, 5” front & rear. I guess it’s a ‘all mountain’ category. I decided to pump 40psi until some mates said that’s way too high.

My thinking is that with 5 + 5 I Donny want I want to isolate the suspension not complicate it with tyre travel. It’s worked fine for me. Lower pressures = snakebites. The Yeti ‘Switch’ backend with its eccentric bottom bracket feels like a hard tail. Very weird. My other bike is an old Turner 4-bar. Totally different. I use the rear brake a lot when cornering.

Is my tyre pressure okay or am I sub optimal.

Appreciate any feedback.

I... Don't get it. Why would you run nearly flat to get some kind of tire rub sound? 😂
