Wood-Fired Clay Oven #shorts

Wood-fired clay ovens have been used since ancient times by diverse cultures and societies for baking delicious bread. These ovens can reach much higher temperatures, often over 800°F, which is ideal for achieving crisp crusts on breads. The smoke and charring from the burning wood also add extra flavor to whatever is baked inside. But why do bakers stick half their body inside when baking? It's because the oven is already full of breads, and to add more, they need to reach all the way to the bottom.
