4:20 more teeth per inch is for harder metal
Less teeth per inch is for softer metals
Thats usually how it goes i think

Great to see this back. Those alloy bushes will create a galvanic cell and eat the mount. Poly would be better.

Very cool, dude. If you're keeping the wet sump, make a gated baffle to keep the oil in the bowl. This helps when mounting bike engines into cars. Cheers. Leigh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 PS: Good to have you back, buddy!! PPS: Mount your radiators outside facing forward, inside facing rearward. This will improve cooling greatly. We found out the hard way when ours were mounted like yours are at the moment 😢

First off, good job on the garage. Waiting to see you get the hemi back in there. Next, I think that’s a really good idea to turn the motor and did a good job explaining why you’re using the motorcycle engine. If you recall, I was asking you to use your civic engine, but now it makes sense of what you’re doing. And finally, you mentioned doing another one. You may want to change the tubing on your front and rear suspension to the oval type tubing. I had seen it on Cletus‘s new car and I had another, feed of a guy that’s building a cart like yours that used that type of tubing.
Way to refocus and keep it real. Great job!

1200lbs and 180hp thats 6.7lbs per HP, thats going to be a fun ass toy. My track car is 12lbs per hp so yea….going to be a blast

I remember seeing some of your first videos starting this project and im really happy you made it this far into your project. I hope it’s fast, and goes down in online history as one of the greatest online personal projects

The bimetal blades are more for cutting through a nail in like, a 2x4, weld material is very hard, generally much harder than the base metal, so yeah, those cheap sawzall blades never stood a chance.

13:30 Im not sure about those aluminum sleeves, dissimilar metals corrode and seize up/break, if i were you, id try to come up with a better solution, or just remake the sleeve with the correct clearance for the bolt. Just some food for thought, im sure itd work fine for some years the way youve got it though.

1200lbs doesnt seem very heavy to me, unless youre going for a specific weight for a race series, either way this thing will definitely be a blast and a great learning tool! Dont end up like me where you hit paralysis by analysis and before you know it you cant even finish. This thing looks great!

Glad to see progress on the build!

Really enjoyed watching you work! Be sure to include some sort of corrosion barrier between the aluminum and steel in the front motor mount tube!
