The problem with Spin Tires is it seems like the devs hardly have a clue how a transmission works. Frequently, when you are at the top speed in a given gear, the engine is quieter than when at a lower speed in the given gear, as though the sound of the truck is linked to how much resistence it is facing rather than the RPM its at. It seems a good bit better in this vid, but in the past it was really noticable and as someone who swears by sound mods from our lord and savior Kaptain Kreichbaum for ATS and ETS2 sound mods, it was really off putting.
