SHAVED FRUIT is the insane summer snack you NEED to try!

✨Recipe:
Fruit of Choice
Lime Juice
Honey

Directions:
1. Cut your fruit into manageable pieces for shaving.
2. Place on a tray lined with parchment paper and freeze for 24 hours.
3. Shave your fruit using a cheese grater or stand mixer attachment.
4. place shaved fruit in a glass and top with lime and honey.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy! 😊

What you see here with the peach is called a split Pit. It literally means that the Pit cracked open allowing outside elements to work their way into the fruit. That causes molding and the soft cut you see here. When picking out peaches at the market, look in the top hole where the peach was picked from, if there is a gap in said hole that allows you to see into the center of the peach, pick a different one. (I work at an orchard and we have to sort all of the peaches that go into the stores)

I have a recipe I would love to see you try!!!

- 2 cups of oats

- 1 1/4 cups of peanut butter

- as much chocolate chips as you want

Mix it all up and it should be able to hold its shape as a ball when placing it on a cookie sheet flattening it down and placing it in the freezer.

After the mixture is frozen melt some chocolate and coat the frozen oats in the melted chocolate. Freeze them again and enjoy!

If you freeze the bowl too, it makes it so the fruit does not melt the second it falls in the bowl and it makes it more pretty and cotton candy like almost 💕

In the peach, that's called a split pip, I can't exactly remember what it's caused by, possible large water content or something happening in the flower bud. The fruit is completely fine to eat, it just is a little harder to cry into pieces and the stone in the centre is very fragile, the little bits that look like mold. I grew up on a stone fruit orchard that later started growing a lot of other fruits aswell

omg wait this may be a way I can eat fruit! i can't eat fruit because of sensory sensitivities with the texture but this could fix that problem. I'm so excited!

Fun fact : even after cutting the mold out of the fruit has already been contaminated with mico mold that can get you very sick so please next time throw the fruit away I don't want you to get sick :(
