hi mrs allen!! thanks for telling me that the trumpet wont affect my braces and so i wrote a document telling my band teacher why i should learn trumpet instead of continuing saoxphone. Flute clarinet and sax have basically the same fingerings so It was really easy to learn them

I find it funny how beginners perceive instruments. They find all the keys intimidating. I admit, I felt the same way while holding an oboe for the first time. Same goes with all pinky keys on other wind instruments and thumb keys on a bassoon
