Jamie Lee Curtis reveals new details of former opioid addiction

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis revealed new details about her decade-long opioid addiction. In the upcoming issue of People magazine, Curtis said, "I had a 10-year run, stealing, conniving. No one knew." The "Halloween" star has been sober for nearly two decades. Dr. Tara Narula reports.

The Doctors and pharmaceutical companies are to blame. I went to the emergency room a few years back because I was having dizzy spell‘s and the first thing they offered me was heroin I denied it so they had more nurses come in to try to talk me into taking it and then they actually had a doctor come in to try to talk me into taking it. I finally broke down crying saying that both of my parents my aunt and uncle were all addicted to heroin/opioids and I will not take that drug and that’s when they finally left me alone. they don’t want to treat your problem or even find out what’s causing it to fix it the right way they just wanna give you heroin and off you go. It’s sad! More people should say no to it when offered it there is such thing as Tylenol, Advil these
Opioids are drugs for people who are dying ie. cancer patients people in real pain not for dizziness not for migraines not for backaches and so forth.
