I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.

Every live version of Layla Clapton does has a special touch that all the others don't. Hard to pick a favourite like that

He is like wine. Getting better by age ♥️

We all know his guitar playing is masterful, but can we get some appreciation for the mans voice? He is pitch perfect in every performance I've seen of him.

Isn't that Paul McCartney's drummer?

Can't believe I've not heard this version before. Slide just enhances it in my opinion. Has the sound and feel of the original. Excellent find on my 60th birthday

I discovered Clapton when I was 10 yrs old...1991
He was the first guitar play that inspired me to want to play and he's been my favorite player ever since.. What amazing teacher he's been

I am only 19, but I am so thankful that my father raised me on the best music. I will always love the legends that are Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Vince Gill, Roy Clark, and Richard smith.

...Been listening to Mr.Eric Clapton since the days of Cream and Blind Faith..I had such a crush on him when I was High
When I first heard " Let it Rain " in 1970...I was mesmerizedby that Song, ....then it was released as a Single in 1972...the year I graduated from High School . ...It's still my favourite Eric Clapton Song, to this day.

That voice...the man's way over 70 and he managed to maintain it. Amazing...

You can tell he's slowed down with age but that passion and emotion in his style is what makes him so great. He was never really a 'shredder' to begin with anyway.

Nothing hits harder than the keyboard and guitar solo at the end

That's the most beautiful Fender custom played by Clapton.

There is NO DOUBT that Eric clapton is LEGENDARY and what makes a great blues guitarist is the emotion the language that the guitar gives. Clapton has it is in spades!

The best live solo and its pitch perfect. They should remaster the studio version with this. Sounds so perfect.
