Ultrabass Red Giant Xi Hydrae ( 12 Hours )

Here we have a long sleep sound created by starting with the ambient bass blasts created by the enormous star Xi Hydrae. In this form it sounds quite a lot to me like waves crashing on a beach.

" Xi Hydrae is a fourth-magnitude star in the constellation Hydra. The star is situated 130 light-years from Earth and has a radius about 10 times that of the Sun. It is radiating 58 times as much luminosity as the Sun.

The star is now approaching the end of its life, and has expanded its outer envelope to become a red giant star.

This sound should be great for focusing at work, getting some sleep, relaxing, or just putting the baby to bed.

This image is actually our own Sun with a red filter as there aren't any great resolution images of Xi Hydrae as of yet in our history among the stars.

Obviously it's not breathing but it sounds convincing. Frightenly so. It reminds you the sheer amount of things we don't know about the universe. There could be forms of life that we can't even understand as life. We perceive stars as giant balls of plasma, but could it be living? In a different way than conventional biology believes? It consumes(uses hydrogen and helium to 'burn', produces waste(heavier elements), it reproduces in way by ejecting particles that will eventually condense into other stars, somewhat like a mushroom. Or perhaps, we are the reproduction, since life on earth would be impossible without our star. That's a trippy thought. Xi Hydraes Electro-magnetic pulses sound like a great, ancient beast, laying down, waiting for death.
