If you can play it all, it isn't too big. And Terry Bozzio can definitely play it all. But he plays what is needed, when he needs it. He's a true master of the art of drumming.

I've read that the left side toms are tuned as close to real notes as can be...& the right side is just regular tom tuning...
& that is the smaller 'jazz' kit...Sick!!

@cscrignaro Go see Terry live, man. I did and I have to say that only after you see him perform you can truly understand what he's aiming for as a musician. He's not a typical drummer. He has just the right amount of equipment for his style.

Just hearing this (I know TB does this for a reason, probably) but I wish that the snares on his kit were turned "on" on the main snare drum more often.
