As a top model who got there without vip, to me what's important is the silhouette which really helps with how you decide to layer, and getting a cohesive colour palette is amazing. like i try limiting myself to like 4ish colours? trying out online tricks is really fun and is a nice way to figure out how to layer to create specific kinds of looks, as well as check out reference images when in freeplay to get more variety in styles. i personally love using glitter, silk, metallic and foil textures, but neon is really cool if you know where to put it.

Looks like the one in the vid work for more mythical-ish themes, which while really nice, limits your ability to do more human based fashion themes, where colour, texture and silhouette matter most.

For faces idk what to really say except that for mythical looks, eyes can be done through eyeshadow, but otherwise, just match your makeup to your clothing. Pretty standard stuff. If you dont have custom makeup and are making a mythical look, I recoloured the eyelashes and picked the fullest looking ones. It's close enough. Esp if you dont have vip and cant get the mask there.

Hair is interesting like. I usually stick on a separate bangs and layer 1-3 hairpieces to create something nice. The masculine hairs are also really cool to layer with, especially the ones from the halloween update.

As a Top Model Myself, its not about messy layering, its actually the color pallete you choose for a specific thme and how you color the items, trust me, I still struggle sometimes when it comes to coloring, because some parts of the items is not visible sometimes when i color and i always double check the coloring when im done

I just became a top model, imo colour pallete is really important for making a good fit and a lot of people overlook it♡♡
Try adding contrast to your outfits by using different shades of the same colour or find colour combos that compliment each other♡

How to be a stylist like a DTI TOP MODEL!:

first, have an idea.
Ex. Theme is OUTER SPACE. You want to go for a galaxy theme!

then, start layering! You shouldn’t color before you get all you layered outfits ready! For layering, many things are very important to when I am making fits such as the supernova set or the jellyfish skirt!

next, make a face. For things to look extra, don’t use eyes! Layer eyeshadow and use a mouth that blends in! In some cases, add a nose. Color it

afterwards, layer hair! Maybe add bangs.

lastly, add the extras and color everything you didn’t color!

Now, you’re done! This is how you become a DTI pro!

For the people who dont have vip or any gamepass:

Tips:
1.Always do ur hair first not after!

2.After hair, picture want you want your outfit to look like and do shoes.If you wanna use a long dress you dont need to as long as it covers your toes.



3.I would highly recommend searching on yt for layering hacks but if you do know how to layer.Good for you:)


4.Always leave space if you want to wear accesories(srry if i spelt it wrong!)


5.Dont use the same fits everytime and just change the color, i promise you they will notice it(if ur doing it for yt content no probs its very okay)



6.I would recommend to use patterns and materials to make your outfits more interesting!



7.I recommend for you guys to always use eyelashes to add more accent to your outfit but if you dont want to its fine!



8.Practice these on freeplay and if you think your ready you can go to regular servers and practice(highly recommending for yall to be on pro servers more though :))



9.Always use faces that go with your outfits!



10.Sometimes use hacks and glitches to make your outfits to look more interesting and different from the others



11.If you wanna use patterns, just favorite them so you wont have to find them again



12.If you run out if time, dont panic just say you ran out of time and pose!



13.Sometimes think different and be different from everyone if you cant really think, you can just be basic with your outfits sometimes



14.Dont always layer as much on basic themes like "going to sleep"



15.Sometimes use some male hairs to layer on your hair so you can make your hair more interesting

As someone who used to think that layering everything on was the best, I now disagree, its not just throwing things on but rather STYLING, yes you can layer obvi but it looks better especially if you do jewelry and patterns, etc.

I personally prefer mindful layering instead of just throwing on everything you can find, especially because of the item limit of 24 (18 I think without the game pass).
Also what I really like to do when choosing a color palette is highlighting specific parts of the fit with a different color that really pops with the normal color palette, this can make your fit more interesting and unique.

For custom makeup, I personally prefer to use the male eyes, because they fit more with my style and feminine eyebrows. For the lips I always switch between male and female, depending on what the base looks like. I also recommend putting on a nose before the lips to make sure the lips match with a nose (some older lips don’t so always check!) and yeah, then I put a little blush, but not too much, you don’t wanna look like someone slapped you in ur face, and the other details of the face (freckles, eyeshadow, (blood?, etc..). Then at the end I pick a contouring and make sure to match it with the skin tone, you don’t want it to be too light or too dark.
Also what I would recommend for eyeshadow colors is either the color of your normal color palette, OR your popping color that you only do details with (you can also go with both if it looks cool), e.g. you have a pink fit and your popping color is pastel blue, if your hair is any other color than blue I’d recommend making your eyeshadow blue, and if your hair color is blue, I’d recommend using the normal color palette, in this case pink.

A REALLY good trendsetter here(I am a fereeplay warrior), it isn't about the messy layering on the fit, it is mostly about the haircombo you choose, how you do the face and the color palette. I always like to use 3 skirts(or sometimes even 2) then 3-5 tops(use the flower top) and things for the arms. hair jewerly is also very important!

i just got fashion mogul the biggest tip i can give is to think about the shape of your outfit when you’re layering. you can choose to be heavy on top or bottom or more balance but i love a cohesive shape. if you put a big skirt over a skinny dress/pants you might want to layer one of the high low skirts or the cape to help the shape flow together better.

Guys here is some tips as a trend setter🎉

I'm recommended to do messy layering but make sure it is something I mean not just layer.

For layering, buy the currency item which you need and you have cash.

If you have custom makeup, layer blush, eyeshadow and extra things. But I dont have the gamepass yet so try your best.

Use texture, the most important part. For -goddess- layering, use glitter, metallic, silk and foil.

Find out the patterns which is goes with the fit. But if your phone lagging or you in a normal server, try to save or favorite the pattern before round starts.

Lastly, use lashes🎉
