Triathlon Swim Myths - Hip Rotation

Every sport, every community develops their own vocabulary and understanding. In triathlon, there are a lot of ideas that have developed over the years, particularly in the swim, that have been passed from one generation to the next. The first of these myths is that an athlete needs to rotate from the hips. While on the surface this is true, it's the execution and the language of this myth that tends to limit an athlete's' ability to improve in the swim.

Excellent description that’s easy to understand.

This is a natural move and the extent of the hip rotation is determined by the depth of the entry - what’s way more important is the catch and it is the catch that will determine hip rotation eventually .

The word connect is a loaded word, does that mean the hip rotation sync to shoulder? Which part of the shoulder motion, shoulder rotation or shoulder reaching Forward?
If you use temporal sequence, such as A comes before B, it would have been more clear

Of course they are NOT disconnected, there is no myth busting but rather Correcting an error.
I've only learned to swim a few months ago and your video compared to many others is very non informative or educational, you should rather correct the title.
