This wasn't even a fight really. This was Wonder Woman playing the role of a prey animal trying not to get eaten. 50% of it was spent blocking, and the other 50% was swinging around.

something is bugging me how is that Barbara destroyed the wings but when Asteria was fighting the men they didn't put a single scratch on the armor

Everyone focused on WW armor's getting destroyed and no one mentions how Barbara wished for strength beyond that of Diana's. You are welcome.

Imagine Barbara saying "She wants to be an apex predator" and she turns into Randy Orton.

Remember, during the fight, Diana is holding back. She doesn't want to hurt Barbara. It's not until Diana realises there is no other choice that the fight shifts in her favour. I really loved this film, can't wait to watch it again on DVD.

I personally didn’t mind the symbolism of the wings in this scene. Diana realises the wings put her on the defensive and has to trust in her own abilities again, so she sheds them.
I think the look was so hyped by the marketing team (and they look fantastic) that we were expecting them to be a major part of the finale and they weren’t 🫠

1:20 love how scary and RAGE filled Barbara looks here. She is RIPPING that armor to shreds and WW looks afraid.

I can't help but scream when it comes to the golden eagle armor. I know cheetah's claws are very powerful but pickung apart her armor that easily is just dumb
