Universal Diagon Alley details revealed - Webcast with Harry Potter stars, Gringotts ride info

Harry Potter stars James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Evanna Lynch and Matthew Lewis joined Universal Orlando officials on a live webcast Jan. 23, 2014 to reveal more details on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley. Details include the Hogwarts Express train ride and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ride.

I seriously think that this will be the first time that anyone has outdone Disney.
I am an unashamed Disney Fanatic, and have been for decades, but Disney really needs to sit up and take notice of this, its really the best thing that Universal has ever done. Hogsmead was incredible! but Diagon Alley looks to be even better!

I'll be amazed if they actually did raise the bar on Forbidden Journey cause that ride is so damn amazing.
I can't freaking wait for this it's all I ever wanted. Been to Wizarding World twice and it's the best place ever and now it will have surpassed my wildest dreams.

GOOD GAWD that was a snoozefest, you'd think they'd make this presentation a little more exciting. Yes the area is going to be mindblowing and the concept art is jaw dropping but the presentation of it is

We went in 2013 the area of the park is sick ! The main ride in the area is epic ! I can not wait till 2015 when we go back !

Seriously, all of this having been done makes me want to cry. When I was 4 back in 1998, my mom read me the first Harry Potter book and since then, we've seen every movie and read every book. Until 4 years, I never thought that I would be able to ride the Hogwarts Express or visit Diagon Alley and Hogwarts, but now what was once an impossible dream is a reality that I still have yet to fulfill. Thank you Universal Studios and I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels the same :)

i watched it live and I was disappointed with what was shared! the sneak peek they kept going on about, was photos, a sneak peek would have been an actual look at the construction. but all in all was still ok to hear about what was to be revealed

They should use the train for Halloween horror nights and do like a dementor ride would be scary as hell

For the quidditch store they should have remote control golden snitches and bludgers and goals you can set up

I remember when I first read about the Harry Potter World they had built in Orlando and told my sister more as a joke that we didn't need to make plans for summer 2010 anymore ^^and then our parents surprised us with a US-Trip and we went to see "Hogwarts" and drank "Butter bear" :) It was so cool... I'd definitely go again :D
