This film is about drive. It's about the passion and creative drive of Kazunori Yamauchi, the architect behind Gran Turismo's birth and breath-taking fifteen-year evolution. This film will trace his relentless willingness to challenge himself, to hold none of his past achievements sacred, and push beyond the virtual divide in his pursuit of perfection. I adore this game. The best part about it is that it's so flawless, that I find myself forming strong opinions on the cars in game based on how they feel without even thinking about it. There are some cars that I love the driving characteristics of and I can drive them for hours, but then I find myself realising how much detail there is in the physics engine. I don't find myself making excuses like "it's ok, it's only a game" when something gets awkward because that never happens. It continuously conveys the pleasures of real world driving without reminding you that you're in a game and that's very special. As far as I'm concerned, the competitors should feel like giving up when going against such a game, it's brilliant in both quantity and detail. Hats off.

As a kid growing up i played fighting games a lot. The i got this game and it changed me i wanted to be a racing driver but never made it so i continued playing this game. It made me feel a bit closer to my dream i never had. My best friend who died loved gt as wellhe never played it as much but if he were alive today he be glad to see where the game has gone and is going. Its a continuing process that will one day be the ultimate driving game. I will forever be thnakful tot he GT creators for the wonderful memories they made me have if i could give all of them a big hug i would.. thank you Gran Turismo.

Kaz has a hobby of hiking, which is cool, but if you haven't noticed yet, most of the Original tracks set in real world locations like Matterhorn, Eiger Nordwand, and the rally tracks, it's layouts are all based of real life hiking trails. He's using the layout to design the tracks, which I think is cool.

Love Gran Turismo!! Its part of my life for so many years now. I have great memorys playing Gran Turismo 1 with my best Friend the whole night, when i was 14 years old.... now i am 29 :D

Wow! This docu film is absolutely amazing. To hear just a hint of what goes on in Kaz's mind, his engineers and staff's minds as they struggle to develop the (as near to) perfect driving game is awesome. If only all the GranTurismo players would watch this video we could better understand WHY this team are not willing to release GTSport, GT7 until they feel the games are ready for each of our driving fantasies. When we dare to imagine the HUGE cost waiting to release these games is bearing down on Kaz and the PolyPhony team, , it boggles the mind but we will, , as soon as the games are released be happily standing in line to spend the $60, $70 or what ever it costs. We already know we'll be enjoying the very best!

My only complaint with the Gran Turismo series is the noise. I wish Polyphony would put the same amount of obsession into making the cars sound like their real life counter-parts.

the greatest race car game ever, but i think it's to much the same cars like skyline, rx7 etc, i hope in the future will be more astons, honda, porsche , maserati . Give us more powerful version one car, love that game, greatings from Poland :)
