Unfortunately, we couldn't see the gesture shown how Bob was swinging the guitar at 10:00 when he got angry... ah..!

1997 Album of the Year. So many unbelievingly brilliant songs, throughout his unrivaled career. Greatest songwriter of all time...

I heard on several occasions that Bob Dylan was unique to work with. (an example) was when he was with the Traveling Wilbury's. Tom Petty and George Harrison were talking about his way of writing the songs. on anything, a napkin or whatever piece of paper he could find. because ideas would come into his head at any time. anyway they were saying how he would write the words on to the paper. and George Harrison said that the letters were really tiny like a spider wrote the word's. that was one of the AWESOME things about the travelling Wilbury's. all the members had a hand in writing the songs.

Johnny Cash gave Bob Dylan his guitar around 1965 or 66.He knocked on Dylan's door, handed Dylan the guitar & walked away.Bob was like Johnny just handed me his guitar & left.Dylan said why ?His road mgr.said you don't know what that means?Dylan said no.His road mgr.told Bob all about what it means when someone gifts you their instrument.Between 1970& 74, the early 1970's.Bob was playing with Neil Young and a cast of other musicians.when Bob walked over to Neil and handed him his guitar.Neil just stood there with a very puzzled look on his face.I think at first Neil thought Bob wanted him to carry his guitar for him.I'm sure he figured it out, after he got back to his dressing room. It was great..Bob always said he really liked Neil young's music...

I met Bob Dylan once in Oakland California, he definitely was a kick in the pants. I hope to meet him once more.

Mark Howard is a brilliant producer. His work with Lucinda Williams is her best, same as his work with Dylan on TOOM. Love Mark and how real, sincere and honest he is. What a great interview!

DUDE! How the hell do you CUT AWAY from the part where he's showing how Bob was swinging the guitar?!?! How the hell is THAT a good time to switch to the credits that you've already shown a half dozen times?!?!

How could anyone resist mimicking Bob Dylan? Just don't let him catch you.

Why would you make fun of Bob Dylan? For being a genius? For being the most influential songwriter in history? For being rich and famous?

Criteria Studios in Miami has an incredible history that started in 1958. The list of artists who have recorded there is a who's who. I would love to see you do a dive into that as a subject, both from people like Mark as engineer/ producer, as well as artists. The artistry of engineering music is becoming a lost art. I love that Mark has all the tools from the artistic days.

Does anyone think: "Oh wow, there's Bob Dylan, objectively one of the most influential figures in all of rock music history no matter what you think personally about his work. Think I'll go make fun of him to his face"? It's like that old saying about venomous spiders and snakes. 'They won't hurt you if you don't annoy them.' Nobody annoys dangerous spiders and snakes.

Check out the Replacements song "Like a Rolling Pin". Legend has it they were recording in the same studios and I guess Dylan walked in as they were recording this track 😅

Bob dylan is and has been criticized far too harshly in my opinion. The man changed the way songs are written to this day. One of the biggest influences in my life

I remember an interview where Bob Dylan said the ghost of Buddy Holly was everywhere he went while making "time out of mind"

B.Dylan debut’d in 1959. Since then there is it seems an endless cue of those he entrusted into his inner circle only too eager to ‘kiss & tell’. As for Bob himself - Greatest Artist of our generation. He don’t need to gossip to get an audience.
