There is no doubt that the Redmi is the better choice. It's cheaper, comes with a fast charger and a 3.5mm jack for your wired headset or earphones. The camera difference is not significant at all. Xiaomi has improved on their updates, I currently have a redmi note 10 pro and I have received all updates on time, am currently running MIUI 14 on android 13 and am bound to receive Android 14 when the update starts rolling out. If you go with the Redmi, you are probably saving 50, 000 naira for yourself instead of going with Samsung

Where I'm from it cost around the same. Can get the A54 just a littlest cheaper to some places. Like 40 to 50 USD less than note 12 pro plus 256gb

I think i will chose the a54 instead of the 12 pro, just because i heard that the battery lasts less and drains very fast on miui 14 😢 hopefully they ll fix it, i had my redmi note 9 pro for 3 years now and the battery is still very strong and the phone is still very good to use

I once held the Samsung A54 recently and it felt like a flagship device. I left Samsung 5 years ago for Redmi and for my device upgrade, instead of redmi note 12 pro plus 5g I'll pick Samsung A54 5G.
