Time is so strange.

I remember being a kid and not really understanding why pros seemed to like AVE.

Back then it was plain to see that Jamie Thomas and Andrew Reynolds, for example, were doing way more.

But then decades pass by, and a lot of big pros just sort of disappeared and stopped putting out much footage: Arto, Rowley, Koston, Dill and so many others. Yet, AVE is still going.

Not only that, but skating styles and trends changed too, and suddenly everything AVE was every doing seems like the coolest shit. It’s more timeless. Going really fast and sliding longer for example. Keeping it burly without getting into the stair counting contest of the late 90s/early 2000s.
