Most important reform needed is to reduce the time limit for the whole cycle from 1yr to 6 months and publishing the upsc official answer key for prelims the next day itself

1) Service upgradation should not be prohibited because when a aspirant start his journey for preparation he aims for a particular service and if he didn't get his desired service he/she may loose his emotional interest in their services due to which they may turn into corrupt officers or a selfish officer
2) Very good decision it will add a more knowledge to the aspirants which will not be civil servants which will create more awareness amongs people of country
3) changes regarding optional definitely create uniformity but I couldn't think it's more beneficial to aspirants except it's marks
4) age limit should not be lowered if age is lowered then it will be more beneficial to creamy layer of society who are graduated from IIT, IIM and prestigious medical Colleges, those who get a quality education from starting. It eliminates option for those students who studied form a government school, rural areas or students who didn't get quality education from start but genuinely intends to serve notion with purity of intention. Most students who get selected from government school are getting selected in their last attempt some of whom I know are Tukaram Mundhe sir IAS got selected in his 8th attempt, Bharat Andhle sir IRS got selected in his 10th attempt

Instead they should allow all any number of attempts till age 38 so that every aspirant can feel safe and comfortable to do job along with preparation if he fails his dedicated first 2-3 attempts if age will reduce to 28 Belive me till age 28 no one will try to find an alternative job option & will end up spending crucial years of his life behind this faulty exam.
Meanwhile they are still silent in CSAT and wrong answer key 🙏

Its better to ban our general candidates to apply for govt job..

There was no need to drop a sensational video right before prelims. Although the panic is unnecessary but you as a teacher should have more compassion and sentiments towards the students going thru the exam.
