Hey Dave A! The RLT RDO has a more stable and comfortable geometry for all day rides, whereas the BSB is more nimble and has more aggressive handling. The RLT RDO still has a very stiff bottom bracket so it pedals very efficiently, and has more flexibility in use with its mounts for fenders and fork mounted cages. Good luck on your search!

A lovely rig! A carbon gravel bike with a clean, sloping frame and braze-ons on the fork as well as on the seat stays. I thought, the Niner gravel bikes had an awkward horizontal top tube.

I, too, like carbon too much to contend with anything else (titanium included) as My only bike. Of course, for urban riding (shopping, rides to the gym and back) one has to have a non-carbon bike, but for longer rides and for beholding pleasure, carbon does take the cake.

Hello .... Good Video.  Have you tried 650b wheels or any of the new suspension for gravel bikes?  Curious as to off road potential.  Especially without the suspension fork with beefy 650b tires and wheels.. Thanks!

I wouldn’t own either. I like drop bar mountain bikes. The carbon Salsa Cutthroat being one of the best. I run 2.2 29er tires with a dropper seatpost.

Rebecca, great info. I'm trying to decide between the RLT 9 RDO 3-STAR RIVAL HYDRO and the RLT 9 STEEL 3-STAR RIVAL. Not into racing. Just a 70 year old guy looking to ride all day in comfort. Any advice appreciated.
