I've dined at the Big Four several times over the years.  Their wild game samplers and menus are ever changing and fantastic. To say it's wonderful is a serious understatement.  The ambience alone is a big attraction.  Who cares if it's not a "salad place"?  Not that important in such a historical, elegant place.  Mister "Not A Salad Place" is a pissy little snot.
